Dear Parents,

Happy New Year and welcome back to Crudwell Pre-School. I hope you all enjoyed the Nativity at the end of last term, and enjoyed seeing the children perform and sing festive songs.

Committee News

We are very pleased to extend a warm welcome to Sarah Williams as our new Treasurer, taking over from Sue Smith. We would welcome additional committee members to ‘share the load' – please speak to any of the existing committee if you are interested in joining us.

Fundraising: Stalls and Ceilidh

At the Book and Music Sale on 31 st January at the Village Hall there will be a few stalls selling their wares. These have been organized by the committee and a portion of the proceeds will go to the pre-school. Please take some time to look around as there will be some stunning children's clothes, cards, jewellery etc. for sale. There will also be a cake stall for which we would appreciate donations of home baking. Please bring to Pre-School on Friday 30 th January or drop them off at 5 Kingsmeadow on Saturday 31 st .

On Saturday 21 st March there will be a St Patrick's Day Ceilidh, to which you are invited to enjoy a jig'n'reel; tickets include a jacket potato with a delicious filling, a bar and a raffle at the end of the night. Tickets will soon be on sale at £10 each and we hope to see you there.

Price changes

Please note that as advertised, the price for sessions change this term:

•  a half day session for 2-4 year olds will increase £0.25 to £8.75.

•  lunch club will increase by £0.25 to £1.75.

Parent rota

The parent rota will be reinstated this term. Each child's parent/guardian will be asked to come in half an hour early in order to help with tidying away under the guidance of Jo and Kylie. Should you be unable to do this, a charge of £10.00 will be added to your termly invoice to help cover the cost of the hall for the extra time it takes to clear away. Please return the form below to indicate the best day to suit you – if we do not hear from you we will assume you are unable to do this and a charge of £10.00 will be added to your bill.
